Nice restaurant with a good varied menu. Classic and new dishes of high quality. Even the kids menu has filet mignon.
Good service. Make sure to reserve in advance.
Out of 10+ years living in Germany this is hands down the best traditional Bavarian food I've ever had. Even something as mundane as a salad is transformed into something exquisite. I recommend the Zwiebelrostbraten.
Great service which is often hard to find. Food was all well prepared. Very cozy inside.
The food is out of this world! I had one of the best Zwiebelrostbraten of my life. Perfectly cooked and with a delicious salad as a side = heaven! The spicy pasta was also really delicious. Can't wait to come back and sample all the other dishes.
Aside from food:
The waitress was nice but seemed very stressed which made it slightly unpleasant to interact with her. She didn't ask us how we wanted our meat cooked and also didn't answer our questions.
All in all, the food is well worth it and we will definitely come back
Tasty meat, good service, fresh and homemade nudeln and potatoes. Everything we tried had an amazing taste. Totally recommended!
Very cozy inside, with very tasty food. Staff dressed in the classic German style is a lovely touch as well. From what I've heard though, it's often very busy so either come early or call to make a reservation.
So good we went two days running and may well go again. Don't expect fast service as good food should be cooked fresh and that takes time. First day we had a mushroom dish with local mushrooms and mushroom ravioli off the specials page, absolutely delicious. Next day I had pork medallions and OH the hunters dish which was a lovely venison stew. Never made it to desserts. Highly recommend.
Too busy, stacked on tables. Food is ok, but the rest.... waited (ignored) 5 minutes to be seated... then told a table is available until 7pm (it was 6pm and we were with a small child, so doable). Then had a very rude waitress who was obviously stressed about the time constraint and reminded us 4 times (!!) that we had to hurry up because we needed to be gone by 7pm.... result: we were gone by 18:45 and will not go back... what a shame!
